Installation Guide

Our Doors are to be fixed to Walls by masonry work as per following steps:

PIC 1-Door in Packed condition (as delivered to site)

Our door with frame & shutter (as supplied in Packed condition shown in the picture), to be taken to the location of door fixing.

PIC 2a -Door with Holdfasts - Brick wall

The door should be laid horizontally & leveled using suitable supports.

PIC 4-Door with outer frame packed

Outer frame to be filled with a lean mixture of Concrete and left for curing for a minimum of 24 Hrs. (This is an optional step if the client wants the Hollow Door Frame to be filled to avoid denting of Door Frame, if something hard bangs against door frame accidentally)

PIC 5-Slots In Wall

Suitable slots are made on Brick wall for receiving the holdfasts.

PIC 6 -Door Fixed to Brick wall

Door is fitted to the wall & checked for Verticality using Plumbs & Horizontal Leveling using Water Tubes. Door is Left in this position for 24 Hrs to give enough curing for the holdfasts.

PIC 7-Door opened after one day

Door Shutter is opened after 24 Hrs by cutting open the straps. If needed additional plastering is to be done around the Door frames.

PIC 8-Shutter Lifted & Removed

Door shutters can be opened & lifted off from Hinges to facilitate smooth plastering of walls around the Door frame.

PIC 9 -Hinges with washers in between male & female Hinges

Door frames & Shutters can be painted separately & shutter can be fixed to the Hinges after completion of painting. Enough care is to be taken for putting the washers in between the male (Door Frame) & female hinges (on Shutter). The washers are put in place while supplying the doors in original packed condition.
